I also determine type of website you need--brochure or eCommerce--and what language--traditional HTML, PHP (tied with a MySQL database), ASP, or ASP.Net (VB or C#, tied with a XML, Access, or SQL database)--to use. Depending on your needs.

Something that is overlooked by a lot of web designers and developers is what is actually involved in the deployment of a website; the process when you’ve finished developing the site, tested to make sure it works, and are ready to push it to a live web server.

  • I will either use your domain or will get one for you at Godaddy.Com.
  • I use Godaddy for hosting, if you already have a hosting plan we can use yours.
  • I will upload your site, set up the dns, email and other web applications provided by you or come with the hosting plan.

The most basic step to take in actually bringing your website to the market that is the World Wide Web is to capitalize on the extra traffic you will get by being able to be found in the search engines. Which means that you can get an astounding increase in traffic just from being easily found in the search engines and directories. That's how things are found on the web.
